Kavolini Begin New Artist Residency at the Pavilion

The vibrant string group based in Norfolk have played with major British Orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, recorded with bands such as Blur and The Cranberries and toured the globe.

The recent agreement between the ensemble and Gorleston Pavilion Theatre is a very exciting opportunity to create an 'Artist in Residency' role within the beautiful Edwardian Pavilion building and aims to develop new and exciting productions to perform in and around the theatre.

Chair of Trustees Alex Youngs commented "Kavolini have been performing at the Bandstand as part of our Summer Bandstand Concerts season for the last couple of years and we're thrilled to have finally confirmed this residency to deepen our relationship with them.

"The material we have lined up is extremely exciting and I can't think of a better way to get started than with a presentation of the very best of Hans Zimmer".

The first performance will be a sublime presentation of "Music from the Movies of Hans Zimmer" at the end of March.
